Krasdale Foods is one of the largest privately held grocery wholesalers in the New York Metro area. Founded in 1908, Krasdale distributes supplies and dry groceries to independent retail supermarkets ranging from small convenience stores to large voluntary supermarkets. To help its customers operate more efficiently, Krasdale Foods automates ordering and DSD processes with custom solutions. As part of its store automation of the future IT solution, Janam’s XG100 rugged gun-shaped mobile computer was selected to replace legacy systems. The XG100 devices will be offered to Krasdale Foods customers for placing orders and scanning inbound inventory.
